HE loves me...

Over this past weekend, I got together with my sister and we stamped images and colored them.  We were trying all different coloring techniques.  Then she showed me that she received the Summer Kit.  I was coloring some of the images and then I got an idea for a card.

Well here it is....

I have not really mastered coloring with Copics, but I know practice makes perfect...lol.

I would love to hear what you think of my creation.

Sketch Fun

Sometimes your mind draws a blank on sketches for cards. Well I created my first sketch and was so proud of it, I got right down and made a card with it.

For this card I used stamps from the Holiday Celebration Collection. The starburst I stamped on the beautiful shimmery paper available through Clear Artisitic Stamps.

Whisper............

It is always a pleasure to sit and create.  Now with some time, I can create more.

For this wall hanger, I used a square coaster. I covered it with designer paper. I then stamped it with Delicate Moments stamp using memento ink. I added some pearl accents to it. I used some ribbon from Walmart to edge it.

Are you ready .........

to RUMBLE!!!!

Linsey gave us a good rumble for this week. We had to use chipboard. I have tons of chipboard, but never really use it. So it was fun to play with it. I took a round coaster and wrapped lace around it. Using some pink shimmer paper, I stamped the sentiment from Delicate Moments in the middle. I also used a dragonfly that is available in the set. I then embellished with some buttons, glitter, and a bow. To make this hang, I stuck with creativeness and used the tab from my Coke can to make the hanger.

Stamps: Hearts and Lace

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Shimmer Paper Collection

Embellishments: Glitter, buttons, lace edging and satin ribbon (manufactures unknown)

We sure hope that you play along in the Fun with Chipboard challenge! Grab that chipboard and/or grungeboard and get creating!

Too Cute..had to post.....

This next thing is so true, I just had to post it.  Enjoy!!

TO:  God.Com
Dear  Lord,

Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed,
This tiny little Prayer
Keeps running through my head:

God  bless all my family
Wherever they may be,
Keep them warm
And safe from harm
For they're so close to me.

And  God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do;
Hope you don't mind me asking,
Please bless my computer too.

Now I know that it's unusual
To Bless a motherboard,
But listen just a second
While I explain it to you, Lord.

You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds and ends;
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my friends.

I know so much about them
By  the kindness that they give,
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.

By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you.
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendships grew..

Please take an extra minute
From your duties up above,
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love.

Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each e-mail inbox
And each person who hits 'send'.

When you update your Heavenly list
On your own Great CD-ROM,
Bless everyone who says this prayer
Sent up to GOD.Com

Amen
